Orsa is the embodiment of precision. An elegant pendant light pared down to its essential elements, Orsa allows the light to express a larger volume. A slim metal stem flares out at one end to form the heat-sink and housing for the LED, with a UV bonded cover that contains the light source. The design of the diffuser ensures that the light source remains invisible, making the pendant appear like a floating disk of light. The design team at Foster + Partners experimented with materials, surfaces, and optics to achieve the desired lighting effects and volume. The diffuser takes its shape from the focused output of the LED, which is diffused through a specially engineered etched lens that allows the light to focus over a wider area.

The Disk-Shaped Pendant Lamp offers refined illumination with two size options: a 6" diameter model providing 562 lumens at 3000K with a high CRI above 90, and a larger 14" diameter version delivering 1694 lumens. Both feature efficient LED technology with long-lasting 50,000-hour life expectancy and smooth dimmability via a simple 2-wire system. Its warm, natural light complements sophisticated interiors while ensuring energy efficiency and visual clarity. Ideal for enhancing elegant spaces with subtle, tailored lighting.
