“In 1916, to escape the atrocious madness of war, a group of boys were admitted to the military medical center of Villa Seminario in Ferrara.
Those boys were called: Giorgio De Chirico, Carlo Carrà, Alberto Savinio and Filippo De Pisis. The rejection of reality led them to elaborate an alternative reality that they called Metaphysics.
A world made of muses and enigmas, of restlessness and enchantments.
Muse is my homage to those boys”.
