Peter Marino’s work is notoriously provocative. The Rotondo, Cilindro and Parallelo lamps are no exception: using the “Fasce” technique, the master casts colored ribbons while hot, blending them together, that wrap around the geometric volumes of crystal glass, creating luminous vortices of dramatic beauty.
This results in a striking contrast between the transparency of the crystal and the weight of the material. Pendant lamp in blown glass with a polished black nickel structure.
